Centrally located in the historc market town of Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire, The Music Shop offers a wide range of new, second- hand and classic vintage musical instruments.

We also offer a wide choice of accessories and instrumental servicing to meet your requirements. Whether you are a beginner looking for a first instrument, or you are a professional muscian, whether you play rock, jazz, classical, or folk, we aim to offer the best in instrumentation service and advice.

We stock a large amount of sheet music - some pieces up to 100 years old! - tuition books, groups and personalities, and examination material including musical theory.

Our pre owned instruments include pianos, and antique violins serviced by luthiers trained at the internationally renowned Newark School of Violin Making. Our guitar, brass, and woodwind technicians are fully qualified.

The Music Shop is owned and managed by Robin Richards a multi instrumentalist and semi-professional gigging muscian. You can be assured of friendly expert advice from a muscian, not just a salesman.
